One Giant Leap For Art Education!

$1.5 million was raised at a September 9th gala for Exploring the Arts, an organization founded by Tony and Susan Bennett in order to provide New York Public schools with quality art education programs. The Bennetts are avid supporters of making dance, drama, music and fine arts opportunities available to students of all racial and economic backgrounds. Funds raised for Exploring the Arts will go towards finding private arts companies to work with public school students. In a time when the arts are often neglected, especially in overcrowded NYC schools which lack qualified teachers and/or funding, it is a relief that programs such as Exploring the Arts exist to bring creativity and artistic enrichment to the students' curriculum.
